Where an Injection Mold
Becomes Production-Ready
A set of precisely machined components is not yet a working mold. It first has to be assembled, fitted, and trialed, all in the same facility that machines your tooling and molds your parts. This is the stage where we run the mold with real plastic for the first time and confirm the parts come out to the correct dimensions, before any production part is shipped to you.
Before the mold build begins, your program goes through a documented DFM (Design for Manufacturability) feasibility review during development, which finds design issues early, while they are still cheap to fix. Once your mold is assembled and fitted, we trial it on our production injection machines as they become available, fitting the trial into our live production schedule.
We check the trial parts for fill, surface finish, correct dimensions, and any visible defects, then adjust the tool and trial it again until output is stable and consistent across a sample run. Your mold is never signed off on paper alone; it earns approval by producing good parts, before it produces any for you.

Our mold-fitting press handles assemblies up to 2,200 by 1,800mm, with 2,300mm of stroke and 300 tons of clamping force, which lets us fit and prove large multi-cavity and structural tools.
The same capability is available as a standalone export tooling service for customers who run molding in their own factories, whether overseas or in their home country. We design, machine, assemble, trial, and check your mold before it ships, so it arrives ready for production rather than needing more work at your end.
We build tooling both for our own production and for export, so every tool we trial is one our own team designed and assembled, with a single traceable history from design through to the first approved part.

We sign off based on measurement, not opinion. Your mold and its first parts are checked on a Mitutoyo S9168 coordinate measuring machine with a 900 by 1,600 by 800mm measuring range and 1,500kg load capacity, and on a GOM ATOS 3D scanning system that captures full-surface geometry at resolutions down to 1 micron on fine-detail volumes and 5 microns on medium-to-large parts.
This gives us a dimensional record of your tool and its parts against the original CAD model, showing any deviation across the whole surface rather than at single measurement points. The result is a clear, auditable record that your tool meets specification before it is released to production or shipped to you.
